Why owners pay for it
Soot, hydrocarbons, insect strike and standing water all do measurable damage to an airframe. Detailing is the cheapest place to deal with any of it.
Performance

Build-up on the leading edges and along the fuselage disturbs the airflow the aircraft was designed around. A well-cleaned airframe picks up roughly five knots on average, and burns less to hold the same numbers.

Water that sits on the surface is where corrosion starts, and UV does the rest. Removing it and sealing the paint reduces the risk of corrosion and fading, and pushes the repaint further out.

Paint condition is the first thing anyone judges an aircraft on, and one of the most expensive things to put right once it has gone. Kept properly, it stays an asset rather than a deduction.

Ceramic paint protection
Applied by hand at a nano level, the coating sets into the paint rather than sitting on it. The result is a laminar flow surface: faster, cleaner, and far harder to damage. It extends the life of your paint by three to five years and takes the effort out of keeping the aircraft presentable.
